Job Title: Accounts Manager, South China
Location: Shenzhen, China
Relationship
Reporting to Country Manager, China
Job Summary:
* Responsible for the sale of Company products in Southern China.
* Performs all traditional account management responsibilities for all accounts in specified territory.
Essential Functions:
* Manage the direct sales and sales distributors/agents in the region.
* Develops and executes account strategies.
* Gains appropriate customer approvals to maintain and secure additional business.
* Obtains maximum penetration of approved products.
* Serves as full technical field representative.
* Develops forecasts of existing and new products.
* Develops new product design and performance specifications and market detail. Monitors and reports on competitors activities.
* Prepares and presents territory reviews.
* Maintains full communications with customers and plant personnel through field sales call reports, letters, phone calls, and other means available.
* Monitors pricing for accuracy and consistency.
* Gives direction to inside sales group on engineering requests, cost requests, delivery requests, etc.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Acts as mentor/coach for sales engineers.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
* BS degree in Mechanical, Electric Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
* Minimum three year’s technical sales experience in components and OEM sales.
* Strong leadership, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, outgoing personality, well organized.
* Ability to travel.
* MBA degree an advantage
