1、学生上英语课看其他学科资料的现象分析及原因和对策;
2、学生答卷速度慢与作文交白卷的现象分析与对策;

As I travel across China, I hope to learn as much as I can about the Chinese people, your history, and your dreams for the future and I hope to help the Chinese people understand more of America’s history, the lessons the American people have drawn from it, and the dreams we hold for the 21st century.
I believe both Chinese and Americans desire for many of the same things ― to provide for our families, to teach our children, to build our communities, to protect our earth, to shape our own futures, and to pass brighter possibilities on to our children.
There may be those here and back in America who wonder whether closer ties and deeper friendship between America and China are good. Clearly, the answer is yes. We have a powerful ability to help each other grow. We can learn much from each other. And as two great nations, we have a special responsibility to the future of the world. The steps we take over the next week can lead to far greater paces for our people in the years ahead.
Here in this city of your magnificent (辉煌的) history, we must always remember that we, too, are ancestors. Someday our children and their children will ask if we did all we could to build just societies and a more peaceful world. Let our monument be their judgement that we did. Let our progress include all people, with all their differences, moving toward a common destiny (命运).
Let us give new meaning to the words written in the ancient book of rites, what you call the Li Shi: When the great way is followed, all under heaven will be equal.
31. It becomes clear from the passage that____ .
  A. both China and America are the most powerful countries in the world
  B. both China and America should do something for the future of the world
  C. both China and America should plant more trees to protect our earth
  D. both China and America can provide their children with good education
32. Which of the following statements is NOT mentioned in the passage?
  A. America will encourage their children to learn the Chinese history.
  B. The speaker is in the city with the magnificent Chinese history.
  C. Both Chinese and Americans share some desires and interests.
  D. The speaker wants Chinese to understand more of America’s history.
33. The underlined word “here” used in Paragraph 3 refers to “____”.
  A. in the city B. in history C. at the college D. in China
34. It can be inferred that the person who made the speech is a ____.
  A. scientist B. a political leader C. businessman D. professor
B
If a man has a good appetite, which is a desire for food, it is thought that he is in good health. When we hear a boy say “I am as hungry as a bear”, we are quite sure that he is well. It is a good thing to feel hungry.
In fact, that is the way in which the body rings the bell to tell us that it needs refueling.
If a boy does not eat, he will grow thinner and weaker every day until he is not able even to walk and at last he will stop living completely. That is what happens when people starve (饿) to death.
You should know the following things about eating.
One of them is that you should eat enough leafy vegetables and some fruit every day and drink four glasses of water between meals during the day. Next, eat three times a day at the same time if you are well. Do not eat between meals. And eat slowly and chew (嚼) the food until it is soft. Do not drink during the chewing.
If you want to be healthy, chew slowly and carefully and stop eating when you’re not feeling hungry. Do not eat too much. It is also very important to us.
35. If a person is healthy, he is sure to____ .
  A. grow thinner B. ring the bell C. eat a lot D. feel hungry
36. A sick man will ____ every day if he is unable to eat anything.
  A. get worse B. feel better C. grow stronger D. starve to death
37. Which of the following is NOT right according to the passage?
  A. The healthier one is, the better his appetite is.
  B. Feeling hungry means that the body needs food.
  C. If one does not eat during the day, he will stop living completely.
D. A person should stop eating when he feels full.
C
When families gather for Christmas dinner, some will stick to formal traditions dating back tograndma's generation. Their tables will be set with the good dishes and silver, and the dress codewill be Sunday best.
But in many other homes, this china-and-silver elegance has given way to a stoneware (粗陶) and stainless informality, with dresses assuming an equally casual-Friday look. For hosts andguests, the change means greater simplicity and comfort. For makers of fine china in Britain, it spells economic hard times.
Last week Royal Doulton, the largest employer in Stoke-on-Trent, announced that it is eliminating 1,000 jobs -- one-fifth of its total workforce. That brings to more than 4, 000 the number of positions lost in 18 months in the pottery (陶瓷) region. Wedgwood and other pottery factories made cuts earlier.
Although a strong pound and weak markets in Asia play a role in the downsizing, the layoffs in Stoke have their roots in earthshaking social shifts. A spokesman for Royal Doulton admitted that the company “has been somewhat slow in catching up with the trend” toward casual dining. Families eat together less often, he explained, and more people eat alone, either because they are single or they eat in front of television.
Even dinner parties, if they happen at all, have gone casual. In a time of long work hours and demanding family schedules, busy hosts insist, rightly, that it's better to share a takeout pizza on paper plates in the family room than to wait for the perfect moment or a“real”dinner party.Too often, the perfect moment never comes. Iron a fine-patterned tablecloth? Forget it. Polish the silver? Who has time?
Yet the loss of formality has its down side. The fine points of etiquette (礼节) that children might once have learned at the table by observation or instruction from parents and grandparents (“Chew with your mouth closed.”“Keep your elbows off the table. ”) must be picked up else-where. Some companies now offer etiquette seminars for employees who may be able professionally but inexperienced socially.
38. Why do people tend to follow the trend to casual dining?
A. Family members need more time to relax.
B. Busy schedules leave people no time for formality.
C. People prefer to live a comfortable life.
D. Young people won't follow the etiquette of the older generation.
39. It can be learned from the passage that 'Royal Doulton is .
A. a seller of stainless steel tableware B. a dealer in stoneware
C. a pottery chain store D. a producer of fine China
40. The main cause of the layoffs in the pottery industry is .
A. the increased value of the pound B. the worsening economy in Asia
C. the change in people's way of life D. the fierce competition at home and abroad

NOT all memories are sweet. Some people spend all their lives trying to forget bad experiences. Violence and traffic accidents can leave people with terrible physical and emotional scars. Often they relive these experiences in nightmares.
Now American researchers think they are close to developing a pill, which will help people forget bad memories. The pill is designed to be taken immediately after a frightening experience. They hope it might reduce ,or possibly erase (抹去),the effect of painful memories.
In November, experts tested a drug on people in the US and France. The drug stops the body releasing chemicals that fix memories in the brain. So far the research has suggested that only the emotional effects of memories may be reduced, not that the memories are erased.
The research has caused a great deal of argument. Some think it is a bad idea, While others support it.
Supporters say it could lead to pills that prevent or treat soldiers' troubling memories after war. They say that there are many people who suffer from terrible memories.
“Some memories can ruin people’s lives . They come back to you when you don’t want to have them in a daydream or nightmare. They usually come with very painful emotions,”said Roger Pitman, a professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. “This could relieve a lot of that suffering.”
But those who are against the research say that changing memories is very dangerous because memories give us our identity (特质). They also help us all avoid the mistakes of the past.
“All of us can think of bad events in our lives that were horrible at the time but make us who we are. I'm not sure we want to wipe those memories out, ”said Rebecca Dresser, a medical ethicist.

C. taking the pill will do harm to people's health D. the pill has probably been produced in America

I used to live in a beautiful small town with green trees all around it.The river, running through the town, had clean water in which fish could be seen swimming in groups. The house, however, were small and simple, and the street wasn’t wide enough to run cars. People here worked hard all year round yet lived a life of no more than poverty.
Now great changes have taken place here. You can see tall buildings, department stores and factories everywhere. Cars and buses are running in broad streets. But with the development of industry, pollution is becoming more and more serious. A lot of trees are gone, and fish have disappeared because of the dirty water. To our joy, people have been doing their best to stop pollution and make the town even more beautiful.
